Isélyr -- The Gathering

The fantasy of a dragon soaring overhead, the sound of armies chanting their nation's warcry, a king at the throne with a fireball in his hand. This is fantasy, mixed with a medieval atmosphere.

The bear seemed to be the main focus of just about everyone around, or at least those that were interested in the treasure. Where it has suddenly come from was the question in Noein's mind. What started as a group of three quickly grew, taking out the bear with different strikes, a felyn, a dwarf, two elves and...another Felyne?! Blinking twice just as she was about to strike the animal again, another of her kind, a male, came into play, attacking the bear right along with everyone else. Noein actually stopped her advances towards the bear, staring directly at the male. Jade orbs ran over the kin of her race, but she would have to ponder about him later after the challenge was taken care of. However, with another Felyne around, things were going to be that much easier and, if he joined the group, it would make for better company than Dunathal and Amara. Getting up from a crouched position, Noein spun her staff quickly within her right hand, waiting for an opening, but the male Felyne looked as though he had everything under control.

"Well...this is highly interesting..."

Not knowing what to make of him, she merely kept her distance and watched him closely, the threat of the bear taken care of nicely by him. Despite what Amara had said before, they were gaining more and more company by the minute, and all from the appearance of the bear. It was ironic how situations like these always seemed to bring people together in one form or another. Dunathal would most likely pitch a fit over this and Amara wouldn’t be pleased, but she would at least have some civil manner about it. Noein, on the other hand, just smiled, almost breaking out into laughter over the thought of her companions having attitudes towards the others. There was now yet another female elf. It looked as though the females were increasingly outnumbering the males, but it wasn’t of real concern. Jade orbs gazed at both, thoughts of what they could possibly bring to this treasure hunt circling around in the mind.

"Well, that should be enough excitement for the morning unless we happen to come across something larger in the forest. And…you two are coming along for the adventure, I’m assuming? I can already see that you can handle your own with sufficient skill.”

This comment was directed at both the male Felyne as the other elf. Names would have to be said, but that could wait. Noein wanted to hear what Amara would say more than anything on the new arrivals, and whether or not they would join them. The larger the group, the better chance of survival. That was common sense to anyone with a properly working brain, so she knew that Amara wouldn’t be so stupid. Dunathal, on the other hand, might have just shot off his mouth. Either way, the interest of the new arrivals wasn’t going to just vanish into thin air and Noein had a feeling that they would follow the group whether or not they were allowed to be part of the three. Noein’s interest was mainly on the male Felyne. It had been a while since she had much contact with one of her own kind, but she still didn’t know what to make of him. This is going to be interesting indeed.. she thought, sighing.

The threatening creature had been taken care of, and now that the scrimmage had come to an end, Amara was left to inspect the new rise of visitors. One was familiar, the female elf from the tavern - the other, however, was a stranger. A male felyne of immense size and obvious physical strength. The thought of traveling with more than just the female felyne was a bit irritating to Amara to say the least, but after the current events having come to pass, it had come almost necessary to allow it. She knew there was another, but it was obvious this individual was out of plain view and had to have been the one to manipulate the forest floor. It was obvious none of those present were capable of such a task. The female elf suddenly spoke to her, but Amara turned from her hastily, back offered as a sign that she was uninterested in conversation. It was apparent the two were greatly different in personalities, but Amara was obviously more respectful and open to her own race than to the others.

" Yes, " She answered her, confirming the female's suspicions, " Though it is strong, its only a guide. It would be wise to not wonder off."

A helpful warning, or a blatant attempt to cause the female astray? It was uncertain. The female elf would have to draw her own conclusions. Amara then allowed a heavy and obviously annoyed sigh to escape from her lips and returned to her original position before the bear had initially attacked - the rock at the clearing. She sat and crossed her arms as she had initially done several instances before and was quite surprised Dunathal had remained 'relatively' calm throughout the entire ordeal. Relatively being used loosely of course.

" I suggest we get moving, " Amara commented, uninterested in names or proper introductions, " We only have so much time before night falls."

Though the bear was but a taste of what was to come, Amara was no fool. It was apparent this forest was beginning to work against them and it would only worsen the deeper they ventured.

One’s suspicions are already roused; I will have to be more wary of how I choose to ‘help’ in the future.

Typheris’ thoughts slipped by quickly enough, allowing him a quick chastisement of his now known to be unneeded interference in the encounter with the bear. Just as quickly as they came on his thoughts wandered away from berating his recklessness and went back to being directly focused on the task at hand; creeping closer to the party without alerting them to his presence. Creeping about the forest floor with relative ease, Typheris carefully makes his way across leaf and twig laden soil without uttering a sound. Aided by the ward of invisibility he placed over himself, he need not try to creep along cover, but only watch his steps and keep downwind of the Felynes. Especially the large one, the new fellow who dropped from the trees and went tearing down that bear like it was a doll.

Typheris watches the party from a closer but still decent distance, awaiting their next move, ready to follow when they were ready to travel once more. While they adjusted to the sudden interruption and made whatever they would make of their newcomer, he took the time to size of the… female sorts traveling in this group. Again there were the two pretty elves, standing side by side, each with features that sent the wrong head thinking again. Were there a way for him to get one, better both, of them into his bed the next time they were in a decent town, why he would be a happy sort of man. With enough alcohol in his blood, the Felyne would become a welcome participant as well…

Typheris thoughts wander of southward, engaged in fanciful thoughts of activities he had both enjoyed in the past and had high hopes of repeating in his future. Fortunately for him, he was not attempting to move again at this point, for surely his next step would have been a misstep and may have lent to his clever deception having a rather difficult hole to fill. But there he was thinking of holes to fill again…

Bloody hell, would these malingerers get their asses moving again? The daylight grows short and my cock won’t take any more of my idle thoughts.
