The Silent Forest (Closed RP)

[Sky Tonima]

Sky couldn't agree more it was time to rest. So he started to speak to the fire.
"Keep us safe while we slumber my friend"

and with that the fire grew and spread out and opened to pass by all of them sitting there and made a dome of flames around them. It would keep them safe for the most part and would wake him if something disturbed it.

With the fire being so warm, the stars lighting up the sky, and the deeps sounds of the male vocals around her, Myst was starting to fall asleep. It was almost as if she were getting hypnotized by everything around her and with being attuned to any type of forest, an instant wave of calm passed over, her mind being settled as the eyelids of the tigress grew heavy. With her eyes on the fire, her concentration not being at its best with sleeping falling upon her, she could almost see someone dancing in the midst of the flames, other pictures forming as well. The tigress put the thought aside and moved closer to Griff, her eyes now closing all the way, her breathing becoming slow and deep as she drifted off, letting slumber take her away into the realm of dreams.

Unable to sleep Sky formed an instrument that his butler and friend had taught him to play. e layed it upon his lap and started to strum and pluck the strings to start a song which he had on his mind. The music lulled through the night, but caused the fire to dance from the notes that he played. Silent tears fell down his face as he remembered the first time he played it.

You hold my heart and soul. Keep them so that i am sad no more. He sung to himself and hummed aloud with the music. Sky slowly fell into a deep sleep by the music. Fell asleep still sitting up and playing the song. Gwin continued on with the song so that Sky could rest finally but still lulled them all into a world of dreams or a peaceful rest

Griff was not able to sleep. The pain in his body would not allow it. So he quietly petted the tiger until it fell asleep. Then he slipped out from underneath her head and walked away from the fire, toward a hill that stuck out from the trees. The walk up was took a bit of exertion for most humans, as it was full off giant tree roots that stuck out of the ground. But for Griff it was just a brisk walk. When he reached the top he had full view of the surrounding area. The tree tops reached for the sky as they always do, the full moon casting shadows across the land.

From his perch Griff was bathed in the moonlight. His skin so pale in the reflected sunlight. Griff trough back his head and let loose a roar across the night. As the last of the echos reached his ears, so did the music of a zither being played. The song was a sad one, but Griff's heart was cold. Finally Griff's own exhaustion beat out Griff's guilt. He fell asleep sitting upright with his hands in prayer.

The moment Griff retreated to his own comfort, somewhere close by, Myst opened her icy blue eyes and looked around, the glow from her spheres of blue seeming to touch the earth beneath her. The tigress sighed and turned her gaze up towards the sky, the stars twinkling ever so bright, each star having its very own shine. Oh, how she wished to be up with the bodies of light, to have the freedom and beauty that was placed upon them each night. But, knowing this was simply impossible, the tigress took a deep breath, her side rising steadily, and blew it back out, gathering a sense of calm around and inside the tangles of her mind. Myst was tired, but she didn't want to drift back into sleep until Griff had come back, but as the minutes went by, it was apparent that he wouldn't be coming back to this particular spot.

Yawing a little bit and getting up to stretch, quickly shaking the dirt from her fur, she sniffed the air for about a second, then headed off in the direction that Griff was in. It didn't take very long to find the male, seeing as how his back was to her and he looked as if he was sleeping peacefully. Taking a glance over her shoulder to make sure that no one had followed, Myst closed her eyes as her body began to shift out from the tigress. A few minutes went by as she changed back into herself, blood red clothing covering her body, onyx claws on soft brown hands, long silvery-white hair cascading down the back, the same colored tail almost reaching to the ground, and instead of icy blue shades, her eyes were now the same hues of the fire that had been burning to keep them all warm.

"Wow...I haven't changed back so slowly like that for a while now...." she said quietly to herself as she ran her fingers through the strands of hair that covered the right side of her face. Now, focusing on Griff once more, her steps being silent as she drew nearer to him, Myst held up her right hand and whispered "Aviartus." Once this word passed through her lips, the palm of her right hand started to glow a dull sapphire which was then put out as a blanket rested there now, draping over both sides of her hand. Unfolding it slightly, she stopped behind Griff and placed the blanket on him, trying her best to keep him warm without disturbing his slumber. Making sure that the blanket covered him to where warmth could be spread, she moved away to a near by tree and laid down, finding a comfortable position on the soft earth, and closed her eyes, falling back into sleep.

[Ken Pyro]

Time passed and the group slumbered on. When a sound woke Ken from his light sleep. His eyes blurred with sleep and his mind still groggy he wasn't sure what it was that had woke him, but there it was again. This time his hand shot to the hilts of his blades.

"Who's there?" He asked looking around seeing his friends still sleeping. What is going on here? He thought to himself as he followed the sound through into the woods. It was like someone was humming a soft song that Ken could feel down to his soul. With a thought the heat condensed around his feet making his movements silent and so he kept moving through the dark using the infrared spectrum to traverse the dark forest.

As he moved closer the sound of the song got stronger and more sure until the notes flowed like a river fast and strong in one place then slow and smooth. Each syllable floating on the air like feathers. Soon he had closed the distance and there was a golden light coming from the middle of a clearing where a woman was standing. Her robes looked like flowing gold each sway of her body with the song that she was singing made it move just like the surface of a golden pond. Her hair a light brown falling down past her hips.

Ken stood just inside the trees and let his eyes flow back into the regular field of vision. He was about to step into the light when a voice brushed along his mind like silk.

"Hello Ken. It seems that you are the first to hear the song."

"I am dreaming aren't I?" Ken asked listening to the sound of her voice.

"Yes." She said softly. "I have drawn you here so that you may awaken me." With that the forest around him died and her robes and hair turned from golden to an abysmal black that drew all the heat out of Ken's body.

With that sight Ken sat straight up where he had been sleeping. A cold sweat covering his face and the morning sun just coming up over the horizon. What was that? He thought to himself. What ever she was it had been a sight that he hoped he never had to see again.

(This will be a day after me and Ken's fight since it's prolonging, however it will still rage on until a winner is announced.)

On the grounds beneath the moon light rays beaming down on his elegant black strands mirroring the rays through each strand creating a wavy light glistening upon his fur stood a Lycan standing on his back legs howling loudly in dismay.

Blood flowed from his healing wounds coloring the grass. His howl shifted to low growls during his transformation back to human state his fur shrinked into his pores revealing his human skin soon his transformation was complete leaving Faye crawling under a tree relaxing his back on a tree.

Under the tree Faye shivered baring the tremendous pain upon his body his anatomy couldn't withstand another jump from a grain it would replenish his body in exchange for his life, only once could this happen without the effect of death taking place.

Faye exhaled slightly looking at the moon in silence.

"The boy has prospered just needs more work."
